Membership in NAMTA offers access to a wide range of programs designed to meet the needs of a professional music teacher.

·   Meetings and programs held monthly September-May (Not in December)

·   Festivals and auditions for our students in pursuit of good musicianship

·   Student Recitals - Sponsored several times during the year to offer our students additional performing experience

·   NAMTA Newsletter - Each member receives monthly (Sept.-May) articles of programs, book reviews and repertoire reviews, articles of interest and news and business of the organization

·   Video Library - Each member may check out videos about the art of teaching from our library

·   NAMTA Scholarship - Given to a graduating senior annually to further their music education

·   STAC - Student Teacher Achievement Clinic is sponsored by NAMTA to provide its members a noncompetitive "audition" experience for their students.  Students receive written comments on performances of required and optional selections

·   Pedagogy Workshop - NAMTA sponsors an annual workshop with guest clinicians
